My design draws inspiration from Hovis’ Mothers Pride, the beloved Scottish traditional plain loaf of bread. Creating a piece paying homage to Scotland’s rich heritage while adding a whimsical, light-hearted twist. The concept was to transform the Scottie dog into a canvas for the iconic tartan pattern, celebrating a symbol that is instantly recognizable and quintessentially Scottish. This is a celebration of Scotland’s culture, heritage, and sense of fun. Combining an iconic Scottish motif with the charm of the Scottie dog, designed to delight, engage and turn something familiar into something wonderfully unexpected.
